David Dvorak works as a Data Scientist at AT&T in Atlanta. His work focuses on creating customer personalization solutions, for both sales and support related use cases, resulting in a improved customer experiences while saving AT&T millions of dollars. Previous work at AT&T includes web application development. With an interest in expanding access to computer science education, David joined honorCode's Young Board in 2017, helping with development and fundraising efforts. In 2018, he stepped up to chair the Young Board and currently sits on the Board of Directors. Additionally, David supports honorCode’s web and digital infrastructure. David studied Computer Science at Emory University. While at Emory, David was heavily involved in volunteerism and student development. He served as president of the largest student-run volunteer organization at Emory, Alpha Phi Omega, worked in Residence Life as a Hall Director for a first-year student dormitory, and also completed biochemistry research. David has a strong passion for all things food-related and co-hosts a monthly dinner club exploring the world’s cuisines using local ingredients.
