What We Do

Teacher Professional Development - Through our School Cohort and Teacher academy, we provide Computer Science (CS) and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) training to K12 teachers.

Future Workforce Development - We look at the entire education pipeline, connecting our schools and teachers with industry professionals, sharing best practices and building local relationships with software companies.

Community Programming - We hold panels and events across the City of Atlanta to connect our educators with the growing software industry and to share our experiences and knowledge with the community.

Teacher Training

We prepare teachers to weave Computer Science and Social-Emotional  Learning into their classrooms, and we build a Professional Learning Community prepared to leverage corporate and industry professionals to enhance K12 education.

We work daily with a School Cohort of teachers in local schools and host a 10-month Teacher Academy providing professional development with teachers from as far as New Mexico.

Future Workforce Development

June 2018 kicked off honorCode's first annual Future Workforce Conference. Hosted at Emory University, we connected educators with industry experts such as from NCR and Georgia State Superintendent of Schools with thought leaders from The Aspen Institute.

Community

We regularly host panels, workshops, and gatherings across Atlanta, showcasing our educators' great work, bringing exciting leaders for film panel discussions and workshops, and connecting our community with the important work needed in education. Come join us for our next event!
